Oradea city is an architectural monument in Romania, one of the few cities used today. It is said that the city could not be conquered due to the vast underground network of links with the outside [citation needed]. Moat of the fortress in case of siege was filled with thermal water from the river Peta. Currently, the fortress exists Visual Arts Faculty of the University of Oradea.
