Ostend by night. View on Oosteroever. With on the left one of two historic slipways from 1931. One of only 3 remaining in the world. The slipways are in origin American built by Crandall Dry Dock Engineers Inc., Cambridge Massachusetts, U.S.A. The city of Ostend has plans to restore one of the two slipways, because they are an ipmortant piece of maritime heritage.
