French fashion magazine started publication in 1919 with name La Broderie moderne et Modes&Travaux . Publisher was Edouard Boucherit. His idea was to promote chic fashion Parisien. Magazine was promoting young French fashion designers. Today Modes & Travaux is female magazine no.1 on the French market. Cover of the issue from 1954.
