The Oak House is a tudor timber framed building close to the centre of West Bromwich in the West Midlands, England, dating from the 16th century it is now a museum mainly for local schoolchildren who come and dress up and soak in the atmosphere of this wonderful old building, when it was first built it held a commanding position at the top of an hill offering views across the fields to Dudley and its Castle, sadly in modern times it is now hemmed in by modern buildings all around and the view is all but gone
