The Norfolk tree fern, Sphaeropteris excelsa, gets its name from Norfolk Island, one of the Australian Island, from where it originally came. Now grown around the world, it does best in a temperature range of between 73-84f 23-29c. But, because it can easily grow to 66ft 20m, it is hard to grow in hot houses.
As seen in the San Francisco Botanical Garden of Golden Gate Park 9 June 2022.
