This species is a wood plant and a medicinal plant. Its flowers, leaves, fruits, and root bark can be used as medicine. The root bark can drive roundworms and hookworms, but it is poisonous. To treat scabies, ointment made from neem can cure tinea capitis. In addition, kernel oil can be used to make lubricating oils and soaps.
