The Gallinara is a small isle in front of the city of Albenga in Liguria, Italy. The isle constitutes a Natural Regional Reserve. In the past was seat of a Benedictine monastery. The isle took the name from the presence of wild hens, in the past. Today the isle is private. Its form remembers a turtle.
