Metal silhouettes placed high on a ridge which overlooks Fort Phil Kearney in Wyoming. The Fort was placed near the Bozeman trail to Montana in 1866. Sioux warriors often times would menace the fort from these heights in order to attack any soldiers or groups of soldiers who ventured forth from the fort. In this way the Indians under Crazy Horse lured Captain Fetterman and his 80 other men to an ambush in which all the soldiers were killed. Blue sky is marred by haze caused by Canadian wildfires.
