In the Chapultepec forest, in Mexico City, the most important and well-known museum in Mexico was created in 1964: the National Museum of Anthropology. The Mexican historical fabric, which embellishes the national territory with numerous archaeological sites and finds, has largely contributed to the establishment of the museum, enriching its rooms with numerous pieces pertaining to pre-Columbian art, as well as notable parallels derived from today's indigenous populations.
