The vortex pattern colored pottery pot collected by Shandong Museum belongs to the pottery relics of the Dawenkou Culture period of the ancient Neolithic Age in China, dating back to 6300-4600 years. The pot has a high collar, bulging belly and flat bottom, and a pair of small convex buttons are symmetrically distributed on the shoulders. The belly painting is first painted with black color, and then painted with white color, with a circle of connected vortex lines, which rotate counterclockwise to the left. The color contrast is bright, and the theme decoration is prominent.
