Room three of the Museum of the Walls at the beginning of the Appian Way today via di Porta San Sebastiano in Rome, Italy. This room, in the east tower, has models of walls and a topographic plan of the ancient Rome and the first three walls. The archaeological museum is housed in the first and second floor of the Porta San Sebastiano. It provides an exhibition on the walls of Rome and their building techniques, as well as the opportunity to walk along the inside of one of the best-preserved stretches of the Aurelian Wall. The museum is free of charge. The Porta San Sebastiano is the largest and one of the best-preserved gates passing through the Aurelian Walls in Rome.
