Pictured is a mural featuring Emiliano Zapata by artist Juan Velazquez on the side of a business at 2500 Hemphill in Fort Worth, Texas. Zapata was a Mexican revolutionary who fought for the people`s right to land. The City of Fort Worth was planning to rezone a portion of Hemphill but the effort was halted after residents expressed concerns that it would cause property taxes to increase and current residents and business owners to be forced out. The mural was part of that successful expression of concern.
