Munich Town Hall was built between 1867 and 1908 by Georg von Hauberrisser in a Gothic Revival architectural style. It's main façade fronts the Marienplatz and is richly decorated. Behind the town hall to the North can be seen the TV tower of the Olympic Park, with the trees of the English Garden to the right.
