Considered by many to be the most beautiful beach in Saint-Nazaire, Mr Hulot beach still bears the memory of Mr Hulot, hero of the famous film that Jacques Tati shot here in the early 1950s: “Les Vacances de Monsieur Hulot” . Saint-Marc-sur-Mer is a small seaside resort in the commune of Saint-Nazaire, located in the Loire-Atlantique department, Pays de la Loire region. The bronze sculpture is the work of artist Emmanuel Debarre.
