Mount Hua was known as `Xiyue` in the ancient times and `Taihua Mountain` in the past. It is one of China`s five famous five mountains and the birthplace of Chinese civilization. It is located in Huayin City, Weinan City, Shaanxi Province, 120 kilometers east of Xi`an, the provincial capital. It borders Qinling in the south and Huangwei in the north.
