Spring time, at about 10,000 feet above sea level, the water levels of Twin Lakes are still low; but it won't be long until the nature melt-water from surrounding spectacular high peaks will refill the lakes soon. Mount Elbert (14,440 feet), in the background, is the highest peak in the Rocky Mountains of North America.
