Memorial to a fallen soldier at the Save Our Cross Rally, Knoxville, Iowa, August 30, 2015. The memorial shows a soldier wearing a dog tag and a bullet around his neck kneeling at the cross grave marker of a fallen friend. The memorial is located at Young Park, a public area in Knoxville. The American United for the Separation of Church and State requested that Knoxville remove the memorial. Both sides of the dispute claim to be protected by the 1st Amendment.
