MOSCOW, RUSSIA, August 22, 2010: Moscow police spokesman Viktor Biryukov (left) attending a rally and concert staged on Moscow's Pushkin Square in support of the Khimki forest. The rally was a part of the broad campaign to try to stop the destruction of a centuries-old oak forest that is soon to be cut down so a highway can be built from the northwestern outskirts of Moscow to St. Petersburg. Opposition activists won the support of some of Russia's best-known rock musicians to play at the rally that drew more than 1,000 people.
