Morning dew is water condensation that occurs when water vapor in the air cools and turns into a liquid on the surface of cooler objects, such as soil and rocks. Morning dew is usually seen in the morning, when the air temperature is still relatively cool and the air humidity is quite high. The process of forming morning dew begins when the night air cools and the air humidity increases. As the temperature drops, the water vapor in the air starts to turn liquid and settles on cooler surfaces, such as the ground and rocks. After some time, the morning dew will form and be clearly visible on the ground and rocks.
