The Monument to the Revolution is one of the symbols of Mexico City: an imposing Art Deco-style tower that overlooks all the other buildings in the area from above. The work is located in front of the Plaza de la República, a very busy meeting point in the Mexican capital and often the site of demonstrations in support of the victims of oppression.
