Pictured is an animated Minmi dinosaur sculpture on display at the Fort Worth Botanic Garden in Texas. This small, quadrupedal, herbivorous dinosaur was first discovered in Minmi Crossing, Australia. Its head, neck, and body were covered by bony armor, very much like the armadillo of today. It weighed approximately 660 pounds and was up to 9.8 feet in length. It lived during the Early Cretaceous period between 120 and 112 million years ago.
