Looking over a gorse bush, (Ulex europaeus) towards two abandoned engine houses at the site of a Cornish mine at Botallack, Cornwall. Facing the Atlantic ocean, and known as the Crowns engine houses, mining was carried out from 1815 to 1914. During those years, Copper, Tin and Arsenic were mined.
