Television and film actor Michael K. Williams arrives on the red carpet for the premiere of the 2nd season of the HBO cable tv hip, clever, off-beat, hit comedy series, `Girls` at the Skirball Center at NYU on January 9, 2013. An adept character, he was well known for his work in the tv series `The Wire.``Boardwalk Empire,` and `Lovecraft Country.` Williams was found dead in his Brooklyn, New York on September 6, 2021 at the age of 54. A subsequent autopsy ruled the cause of death as a drug overdose.
