The Pantheon is a famous ancient Roman temple located in Rome, Italy. It was originally built in 27 BC by Marcus Agrippa as a temple to all the gods of ancient Rome. The current structure, however, dates back to around 126 AD, during the reign of Emperor Hadrian.The Pantheon is renowned for its remarkable dome, which is still the world's largest unreinforced concrete dome. The building is known for its impressive architecture, particularly its perfect proportions and the oculus, or circular opening, at the top of the dome, which lets in natural light.Today, the Pantheon serves as a church and is one of Rome's most visited tourist attractions, drawing visitors from around the world who come to marvel at its ancient beauty and engineering marvels.
