There is a national park near the Baskunchak salt lake. In this park one can find amazing landscapes, red soil, hills and hollows as if you are on the Mars. They say that million years ago there was a sea at this place, that gradually dried out. So now there are fossils and, of course, salt left after this ancient sea.
