Pop and Country singer Margaret Whiting belts out a tune from the musical review `Dream,` accompanied by famed jazz guitarist and singer John Pizzarelli. The occasion was `Stars in the Alley` at Shubert Alley in mid-town Manhattan`s theater district, on May 28, 1997. The event was designed to create a buzz at the free lunchtime concert for the upcoming Tony Awards. Born in Detroit, Whiting died in Englewood, New Jersey on January 10, 2011 at the age of 86.
