Marcel Iures (in. August 2, 1951, Băileşti) is a leading Romanian actor composition. Marcel Iureş twice received the title of best actor of theater in Romania. His artistic activity is primarily related to theater. Since 1995, Marcel Iureş is president of ACT Theatre Artistic Cultural Foundation, laying the foundation of the second independent theater scene in Romania. Currently, he plays on stage in three parts Act directed by Alexandru Dabija 'creator Theatre (Thomas Bernhard), Krapp's Last Tape (Samuel Beckett) and The Goat or Who is Sylvia? (Edward Albee). The most important roles in the theater: Richard II, Richard III (directed by Michael Măniuţiu), Hamlet (directed by Liviu Ciulei), Caligula by Albert Camus (directed by Michael Măniuţiu ), Beckman (Outside the front door) by Wolfgang Borchert (directed by Michael Măniuţiu). ACT Theatre has played in the song City of the Sun (directed by Michael Măniuţiu). Marcel Iureş's international career is related to several roles in films, of which the best known: Amen, Hart's War, Mission: Impossible, Interview with the Vampire: The Vampire Chronicles and The Peacemaker.
