Pictured is a marble bust of the Italian sculptor Vincenzo Consani at the Praeorian Palace of Lucca, Italy. He was a prominent Italian sculptor from the Canova School. He was born in Lucca in 1818 and died in Florence in 1888. Over his life he created many marvelous sculptures including the marble masterpiece statue Vittoria which is in the Pitti Palace in Florence.
