Mandacaru is a fishing village - Lençóis Maranhenses National Park, Barreirinha City, Maranhão State, Brazil, whose name comes from the abundance of the cactus of the same name; from the top of the lighthouse we see a babaçual from the village, the Preguiça River flanked by restinga and mangrove, the beach and, almost imperceptible, the sea in a gray strip that blends in with the sky.
