Les Gavroches, the bronze work of the Maltese sculptor, Antonio Sciortino in the Upper Barracca Gardens, the best known of the public gardens of the capital city, Valletta, Malta. The statue shows three poor street children who passed through the streets of Paris during the turbulent times of the 1848 revolution and was inspired by the great novel Les Miserables by Victor Hugo.n
