Malmudden is geographically the northernmost part of Svartölandet and is centrally located in Luleå, only a bridge over the ore and a narrow canal that separates Malmudden and Svartön from the center half and the inner city. In 1947, the extinct, which then called Koudden, was built with multi-family housing.
