This is a Spring picture of the main entrance of the iconic Field Museum of Natural History located in Chicago, Illinois. The museum was designed William Pierce Anderson, is an example of Classical Revival architecture, and was built in 1921. The museum was added to the National Register of Historic Places on September 5, 1975. This picture was taken on May 18, 2016.
