The Pleiades or The seven sisters is a well known star cluster in the constellation Taurus. It is made up of young, blue, stars formed in the last 100 million years. The light from the star cluster passes through an interstellar dust cloud. This photo is approximately 120 exposures of three minutes each taken with a monochrome camera and filters for luminance, red, green and blue.
