Loughcrew is one of the four important sites of the Neolithic in Ireland, which claims to contain those known as corridor tombs. The other three are: The aforementioned site of Brú na Bóinne in the last two chapters, the other two are Carrowkeel and Carrowmore. -Which will be explored in later chapters- The Loughcrew site covers up to four summits: Carnbane East, Carnbane West, Carrickbrack and Patrickstown.
