The Skating Mountain complex consisted of a pavilion, ramps and covered galleries-colonnades with a length of 532 meters. The launching pad was located at an altitude of 20 meters. The complex engineering and technical structure of the Rolling Hills had one straight and three wavy wooden ramps, the height of which was consistently reduced and overcome due to inertia, as well as three tracks: the central one for skating, and the side ones for lifting wheelchairs. Skating was carried out on specially designed A. K. Sledges carved gilded carriages in the form of "triumphal chariots, gondolas and saddled animals". They rode down the mountain until 1801, when it slowly began to collapse. Eventually, in 1813 the colonnades collapsed, and in the late 1850s the ruins were dismantled.
