Livadia Palace - the former residence of the Russian emperors South, located on the Black Sea in the village of Livadia in Yalta region of Crimea 3 km from Yalta. Palace lightweight Italian style built in the late XIX century. under the direction of Monighetti and NP Krasnov. Place the Yalta Conference the Allies, determined the contours of the postwar world. In 1834 Livadia (Livadia Greek - meadow, lawn) was purchased from the Greek Balaklava battalion commander Theodosius Reveliotti Count Leo Severinovich Potocki. The project Monighetti Potocki house was rebuilt (Grand Palace), built by the Heir Palace (Petit Palais), the suite house and kitchen. Also during this period it was built the Church of the Holy Cross. In 1911, the project architect Yalta Nikolai Petrovich Krasnov for Emperor Nicholas II built a new White Palace.
