Pictured is a little blue heron with a tiny crab in its bill along the edge of Chokoloskee Bay in Florida. The binomial name is Egretta caerulea. Chokoloskee Bay is roughly 10 miles long and 2 miles wide and is located along Florida s Gulf Coast, separated from the Gulf of Mexico by the Ten Thousand Islands.
