Lima Peru Lighthouse tower Faro La Marina landmark Miraflores blue sky ,ts construction was entrusted to the firm Chance Bros of Sweden and it was built in 1900 in Punta Coles, south of the port of Ilo, in the Moquegua Region. There it entered service for the first time on February 24, 1921. In December 1973, it was dismantled and rebuilt in Miraflores by the Directorate of Hydrography and Navigation of the Peruvian Navy. It is located in Parque el Faro, which commemorates a century of Peruvian navigation.
