Light-vented Bulbul scientific name: Pycnonotus sinensis, English name: Chinese bulbul, also known as Bulbul, is a small bird in the family Bulbulidae of passerine, and is a songbird. In winter, the northern birds migrate southward as migratory birds, and the Taiwan subspecies are resident birds in Taiwan. Lifespan is about 10 to 15 years. Pulsatilla is commonly found in East Asia, the Yilan Plain of Taiwan, most of the southern part of the Yangtze River in mainland China, as well as Hong Kong, the Ryukyu Islands Yaeyama Islands, Okinawa, etc., lively and not afraid of people. It eats insects, seeds and fruits. It is omnivorous. The male bird`s chest is darker, the female bird is light, and the male bird`s occipital back head is very clear and eye-catching.
