Tourists are walking to the middle station (Tuxer Fernerhaus (2.660 m) to ascend to the Hintertux Glacier. The Gletscherbus 3 is surely the most spectacular cablecar in the Alps as well as the highest bi-cable cable car in the world. The extreme geographic situation of the Gletscherbus 3 formed a special challenge to the engineers, builders and fitters. The Hintertux Glacier is situated in the south of Austria, at the end of the Ziller Valley.
