Leah Rabin, widow of the slain Israeli Prime Minister speaks at the Shalom Chaver (Hebrew for Goodbye Friend) Memorial Tribute to Yitzhak Rabin at Madison Square Garden in Manhattan on Sunday, December 10, 1995. Approximately 20,000 mourners including political figures, prominent American Jewish officials, religious figures, and singers attended. Leah Rabin received a prolonged standing ovation when she was introduced. Yitzhak Rabin who was assassinated just after a large peace rally in Tel Aviv on November 4, 1995.
