Kurent or korant is a traditional carnival mask, dressed in fur and special headgear, with cow bells. Jumping and dancing and making noise they banish away the winter and announcing the spring. Handkerchiefs are gifts from girls. Ljubljana, Slovenia, 15th of February 2012.
