Nobel Prize winner and then United Nations Secretary General, Kofi Annan of Ghana, arrives on the red carpet for the premiere of The Interpretor at the Ziegfeld Theatre in New York City. The event was a highlight of the 4th Annual Tribeca Film Festival; April 19, 2005. The UN gave special permission for parts of the potboiler to be filmed at the UN building and vicinity on the East side of mid-town Manhattan.
