Koblenz is a regional center at the Rhine and Mosel. Old town is located between the rivers, with many smaller places around that belong to the city. Koblenz is also called Rhein-Mosel-Stadt in touristic context. Koblenz marks the north end of Mittelrheintal an UNESCO world heritage site located between Bingen and Koblenz. The Rhine valley with many old villages and town has several castles and other medieval heritage to see. Deutsches Eck is the Mosel estuary with the ship shaped front holding all German states' flags and the statue of Kaiser Wilhelm on a horse.
