Bang Luang is the name of a ‘klong’ or canal in Thonburi a district situated on the west side of Chao Phraya river opposite Bangkok city centre. Dating from the Ayutthaya period the old-world charms of Klong Bang Luang continue to draw both local and foreign visitors to the community today. It’s as if there’s an invisible wall that prevents the city’s hustle and bustle from sneaking in and taking over.
