Comedic actress Kirstie Alley arrives on the red carpet for the New York premiere of Season 4 of HBO premium cable television`s Emmy-winning hit comedy, Girls. The event was held at Manhattan`s American Museum of Natural History on January 5, 2015. Alley won 2 Primetime Emmys and 2 Golden Globe Awards. She became famous by playing the role of Rebecca Howe, a flirtatious barmaid in the long-running comedy hit `Cheers,` for which she won a Primetime Emmy in 1991. Alley died from colon cancer on December 5, 2022, in Tampa, Florida, at the age of 71.
