Fall foliage at Kinkaku-ji temple in Kyoto, Japan. Kinkaku-ji literally means Temple of the Golden Pavilion. This temple is a Zen temple in northern Kyoto whose top two floors are completely covered in gold leaf and it is one of 17 locations comprising the Historic Monuments of Ancient Kyoto (Kyoto, Uji and Otsu Cities) UNESCO World Heritage site.
