Auroville, a.k.a. City of Dawn, is an experimental township in the state of Tamil Nadu with some parts in the Union Territory of Puducherry in South India. Education and a child friendly environment are hold high here. It was founded in 1968 by Mirra Alfassa and designed by architect Roger Anger.
