In the past, Thai people will use bamboo to be container for boil rice. The rice will be cylinder form. In the present, most Thai people use this method to make dessert call Khaolam. It made from glutinous rice roasted in bamboo joints or sticky rice soaked in coconut milk and baked in a length of bamboo. Some place will put black bean and moji in the rice.
