Actor Kevin Spacey hosts festivities at `Stars in the Alley,` a free concert in the run-up to the Tony Awards. The event was held in Shubert Alley, in the heart of mid-town Manhattan`s theater district. Spacey was also one of the Tony nominees that season, for his performance in `The Iceman Cometh.` He is about to introduce high school students who were winners of Continental Airlines scholarships. The event took place June 2, 1999.
